Advanced Navigation joins Team Defence Australia at the Association of the United States Army Annual Meeting and Exposition in Washington DC. This event provides Advanced Navigation with a hands-on opportunity to showcase the company’s innovative AI-based technology with field-proven PNT under demanding conditions. AUSA 2023

The AUSA Annual Meeting and Exposition will be held over three days in Washington DC and is the largest land power and professional defence development program in North America. This event is an opportunity for all AUSA members and stakeholders to be updated on military and national security matters. Attracting over thirty thousand people each year, this event will feature workshops, seminars, panel discussions and keynote presentations on the future of the American defence industry. The 2023 Meeting aims to deliver the Army’s message by highlighting the capabilities of defence organizations through technological advancements.

Chris Shaw

CEO & Co-Founder

Chris Shaw is the CEO and co-founder of Advanced Navigation, a robotics and navigation AI-based technology company. Chris earned his degrees in business and electronic engineering from the University of Western Australia graduating with First Class Honours. During this time, Chris was a research and development engineer at Entecho, a company focused on developing air taxis and aerial vehicles. Following this, he joined Cyber Technology, a company specialising in autonomous vehicles. Upon discovering a gap in the market for small robust high performance autonomous navigation solutions, Chris co-founded Advanced Navigation with business partner Xavier Orr. Since 2012, the company has experienced great success and has progressed into several deep technology fields, including underwater acoustics, GNSS antennas and receivers, radio frequency systems, inertial sensors, robotics, and quantum-enhanced inertial navigation.
