Renowned US private equity fund KKR has joined the register of robotics and navigation technology company Advanced Navigation as part of a new $108 million funding round.

NEW YORK /SYDNEY – November 17, 2022 – Advanced Navigation (the “Company”), a developer of AI robotics and navigation technology, and KKR, a leading global investment firm, today announced the signing of definitive agreements under which KKR will lead a USD 68 million (AUD 108 million) Series B funding round in the Company.

Advanced Navigation took out the most prestigious accolade as part of the 2022 Sydney Young Entrepreneur Awards.

With support from the Australian Space Agency, Advanced Navigation has developed Boreas X90, an inertial navigation system to autonomously explore the Moon and beyond to Mars, to help uncover scientific discoveries, unlock the lunar economy and inspire a new generation of space explorers.

Global, 2022 – Advanced Navigation‘s inertial navigation systems will be used in the upgrade of Sweden’s fleet of CV90 tracked vehicles.
