New Century Information and Advanced Navigation announce new strategic partnership

 SYDNEY, 23 November 2020 – New Century Information and Advanced Navigation are pleased to announce that they have entered a strategic partnership, allowing both companies to further develop in the growing market of analysis and gamification with individuals in high-intensity sporting events.

The partnership has been preceded by a long-standing collaboration on the development of products, solutions, and services in the field of wearable advanced outdoor positioning systems.

“Together with Advanced Navigation, we have created a solution to position athletes in outdoor events in real-time and with the highest possible accuracy and precision. This will allow us to develop live broadcasting technology and increase the audience’s experience of live sporting events. We (NCP+NCI) will thus be able to strengthen and develop our market position in this area”, says Anders Yttergård, Co-Founder of New Century Information.

The two organisations also have ambitions to develop this technology to include navigation aids to accompany the visually impaired and others who need help navigating outdoors in unfamiliar environments.
