Intergeo is the world’s leading expo, geodata and future-oriented applications. This years theme is “Inspiration for a smarter world”, and Intergeo will be showcasing the current developments in surveying: from spatial reference and positioning, to 4D geodata and mapping applications. The use of spatial data will be at the forefront of this conference as spatial information is becoming ever more important in the areas of housing, mobility, sustainability and climate and conference platform for geoinformation policy. This year, Intergeo will be held as a hybrid event. It will be live at the exhibition grounds and digitally on the exhibition platform.

Xavier Orr

Xavier Orr
Chief Executive Officer

Xavier Orr is the CEO and co-founder of Advanced Navigation, a robotics and navigation AI-based technology company. Xavier earned his mechatronic engineering and computer science degrees from the University of Western Australia where he completed his thesis on the application of neural network AI to inertial navigation. During this time, Xavier was head of research and development at Cyber Technology, a company specialising in autonomous systems.

Following the completion of his thesis, Xavier commercialised his research on AI-based inertial navigation systems, co-founding Advanced Navigation with business partner Chris Shaw. Since 2012, the company has experienced great success and has progressed into several deep technology fields, including underwater acoustics, GNSS antennas and receivers, radio frequency systems, inertial sensors, robotics, and quantum-enhanced inertial navigation.
