Olex has successfully integrated Advanced Navigation's Spatial INS into their hydrographic survey vessels. Spatial is a ruggedized miniature GPS aided inertial navigation system and AHRS that provides accurate position, velocity, acceleration and orientation. Spatial FOG has completed a long distance 558 kilometre dead reckoning test in a drive down the eastern coast of Australia. The test duration was 8 hours and 17 minutes and involved difficult terrain with altitude changes of more than 800 metres. Spatial FOG demonstrated market leading performance in the test with an error of just 0.1% of distance travelled.
SEA Corporation of Japan has delivered Advanced Navigation's Sublocus DVL to Ocean Works Asia. Ocean Works Asia is integrating Sublocus DVL into their ROV platform for autonomous control. SEA Corporation worked with Ocean Works Asia to perform validation performance testing on one of the units in the waterways of Chiba prefecture, Japan.

Advanced Navigation has announced the release of the third generation of their Spatial MEMS GPS/INS product. The new Spatial v3 features a significant upgrade of the accelerometers and gyroscopes. The new sensors provide some of the best MEMS inertial performance currently available on the market with a gyroscope bias instability of 3 °/hour and accelerometer bias instability of 20 ug.
