What is the definition of USV?

Stands for unmanned/uncrewed surface vehicle. A USV is a marine surface vehicle / boat that operates without a human operator on-board.

USVs may be used either under remote control by a human operator or, if so designed and equipped, autonomously via onboard sensors, navigation systems and computers.
