Poseidon
Poseidon is a subsea GPS/GLONASS/GALILEO/BeiDou antenna that is designed for use on underwater vehicles that require the ability to obtain a GNSS fix when surfaced. The antenna is also suitable for marine vessels that are exposed to harsh conditions that are too extreme for a normal GNSS antenna. The antenna is lightweight, compact, corrosion resistant and able to withstand depths of up to 3000 metres. L-Band reception allows reception from services such as Marinestar and Atlas.

Features

3000m Depth Rating
Poseidon is rated for depths of up to 3000 metres, allowing it to be permanently mounted on deep diving subsea vehicles.

Multi Constellation
Poseidon supports all of the current and future satellite navigation systems including GPS L1/L2, GLONASS G1/G2, GALILEO E1/E5, BeiDou B1/B2 and L-Band correction services. L-Band correction reception allows reception of corrections from services such as Marinestar, Atlas and Veripos.

Compact Design
Poseidon is one of the smallest depth rated GNSS antennas on the market, featuring an integrated, compact and lightweight design. Its miniature connector takes up a very small footprint.

High Performance
Poseidon features a cutting edge RF design, allowing it to achieve high positioning performance under difficult sea conditions. It is able to reject high levels of interference and multipath.
Applications

ROVs
Poseidon is ideal for use on ROVs to give them starting GPS position before diving.

AUVs
Poseidon can be installed on an AUV which relies on inertial navigation while under water and returns to the surface to update its position with GPS periodically.
